Our commitment
GlucoContext aims to make educational content usable by people with a wide range of abilities, devices, and ways of reading. Accessibility is part of design, writing, development, and correction work rather than a final visual check.
We use semantic headings and landmarks, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus states, text alternatives for meaningful images, responsive layouts, readable contrast, plain-language explanations, and support for reduced-motion preferences.
Known considerations
The site uses external font and icon resources. If those resources are blocked, fallback fonts should preserve the text and decorative icons should not remove the meaning of controls. Long educational pages include a table of contents and clear section headings to support navigation.
Accessibility can vary across browsers, assistive technologies, and external source websites. Links to government, nonprofit, and research sources lead to pages we do not control.
Request an alternative or report a barrier
If a GlucoContext page is difficult to use, email [email protected]. Include the page URL, the task you were trying to complete, the browser or assistive technology if you are comfortable sharing it, and the format or adjustment that would help.
We aim to acknowledge accessibility messages within five business days and provide a practical response or timeline. Do not include private medical details. Accessibility email is not an emergency or clinical service.
Ongoing work
We review reusable components, keyboard behavior, responsive layouts, content structure, and reader feedback as the site evolves. Confirmed accessibility issues are prioritized according to impact and tracked through our correction process.
