Corrections Policy

How readers can report a GlucoContext error and how our editorial team reviews, corrects, dates, and explains substantive changes.

Our commitment

Accuracy and clear context are central to GlucoContext. When we confirm an error, we correct it promptly and in proportion to its effect. We do not quietly preserve a factual mistake to protect an earlier version of a page.

Corrections may address facts, source interpretation, wording that overstates evidence, broken links, accessibility barriers, dates, or presentation that could reasonably mislead a reader.

How to report an issue

Email [email protected] with the page title or URL, the passage in question, why it may be inaccurate, and any source that helps explain the concern. Please do not send medical records, glucose logs, insurance details, or other sensitive health information.

A correction request is an editorial communication, not a request for personal medical guidance. GlucoContext cannot interpret an individual's readings or recommend treatment changes.

How we respond

The editorial team reviews the published wording, cited sources, and the information supplied by the reader. We may consult additional authoritative material. Not every disagreement results in a correction, but every specific, good-faith report is considered.

Minor typographical or formatting changes may be made without a public note. A substantive correction changes the updated date and may include a short correction note describing what changed. If a page is no longer reliable enough to remain available, it may be substantially revised or removed without redirecting readers to unrelated content.

Timing

We aim to acknowledge a clear correction report within five business days. Complex questions can require longer review. Safety-related concerns receive priority, but email is not monitored as an emergency service. In a medical emergency, call 911.
